It’s NOT our battle to win, but we must show up for the fight

As a Christian professing to be a servant of the highest God, I must live out the directions presented in the Bible (Basic Instructions before Living Eternally). The Word of God in Luke 18:1 says… We should always pray and NOT give up. If we as Christian’s are going to make a difference in this world for the good, NONE Christian’s need to see our lives line up with what the Bible instructs.

Sadly, a large number of professing Christian’s are behaving like the Pharisees of old; Jesus said in Mark 7:6 He replied, "Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: " 'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Verse 7 they worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.’ Verse 8 you have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men."

It’s time for the REAL Christian’s to step up and answer God’s call. Our world is being destroyed by people who lack a moral compass. The Word of God is right on point when it says… Genesis 6:5 The LORD saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. Verse 6 the LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain. Verse 7 so the LORD said, "I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth—men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air—for I am grieved that I have made them." Verse 8 but Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.

It’s NOT our battle to win, but we must show up for the fight. Let’s take a look at how King Jehoshaphat resolved issues during his time… 2 Chronicles 20:2 some men came and told Jehoshaphat, "A vast army is coming against you from Edom, from the other side of the Sea. It is already in Hazazon Tamar." Verse 3 Alarmed, Jehoshaphat resolved to inquire of the LORD, and he proclaimed a fast for all Judah. Verse 4 the people of Judah came together to seek help from the LORD; indeed, they came from every town in Judah to seek him. Verse 13 all the men of Judah, with their wives and children and little ones, stood there before the LORD. Verse 14 then the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jahaziel… Verse 15 he said: "Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the LORD says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army… the battle is not yours, but God's.

We have arrived to a point where we must assemble as the body of Christ and hear the living words as they are spoken in 2 Chronicles 7:14… if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Blessings to all!
