Networking – Why we should connect

Proverbs 24:5 - 6 (NKJV)

5. A wise man is strong, yes, a man of knowledge increases strength;

6. For by wise counsel you will wage your own war, and in a multitude of counselors there is safety.

Godly wisdom should be the beginning of any action. If God in His Word said it then that should settle it. Whatever it is – decision, job, 401k, and any other thing that life presents in our lives.

For weeks now God has been dealing with me about informing the “body of Christ” to connect; not within your worship place ONLY, but with brothers and sisters of our Faith everywhere.

Hosea 4:6 my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…

Clearly the Bible instructs us as Christians, People of Faith or whatever label we desire to brand ourselves, as directed by Matthew 6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God is informing us to go back to the basics – establish a network; if ten or more Christian families would connect with each other we could keep families afloat when the hard times come. Job lost, emergencies, and any other need (not want) that may arrive can be dealt with without the locate worship place being involved financially.

But, ground rules must be set – Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Someone within the group need to take the lead and inform all parties when a hardship occurs in a family… if everyone come together, find out what the total bill amounts are? Then agree on the amount per family until the needy family is restored (within reason).

I pray God’s blessings upon all who will trust God during these most troubling times; He is the great I AM…
